Fantastic hotel
Perfect location, Hunter Square a few yards from Royal Mile. Very friendly staff...made us and our 2 dogs feel very welcome. Secure NCP car park an easy 10 minutes walk from the hotel, which we pre-booked independently. Best long weekend we've ever experienced. Definitely going back.

after a long overnight flight would not allow us an early check in. others also tried to check in early but no one was allowed to. everyone given robotic answer that check in time was 3 p.m. you can take a picture of your luggage and leave it in a storage closet. room was small and bathroom extremely small. a tall or large person would not be able to sit on the toilet.

Excellent location for all of the main sights. Room was basic, but comfortable, well maintained and clean. We had a family room at the front of the hotel which was big enough for the three of us, but not too much storage provided - not even hooks to hang coats so be warned! Room was a little noisy late evening/early morning due to the room being located over a bar and opposite another. Ear plugs are offered, but we didn’t need to use.
