We love Recanto. The staff was accommodating of our early check-in and a few other special requests. The food (especially breakfast!) was delicious. We loved all the different pool options and the morning fitness classes. Our only wish was that the whirlpools on the bottom level were a little hotter. We hired a guide for Las Cataratas through the hotel, and they were top notch. We would also highly recommend booking a treatment at the spa during your stay. It was the perfect way to unwind in the middle of a long trip. It felt like vacation on vacation!

The property is extremely kid- and family-friendly. They have everything you need to keep your children entertained and provide special supervised activities at the pool. The food is excellent and the service is unmatched. The property itself ranges from brand new to needing repairs in some areas, but nothing that affects your stay. If you stay in the new building, there is a bit of a walk to most amenities. The front desk staff was excellent, led by Marcelo. At meal time, Yamila provided amazing service with a smile. We had a great first visit to Brazil thanks to the staff.

A área comum do hotel é agradável. O que fica devendo são quartos mais novos, o acabamento está antigo e com algumas áreas quebradas (portas, rodapés…). A maçaneta da porta do banheiro estava solta. A piscina externa tem somente água um pouco aquecida, que não permite banhos em dias mais frios, somente a piscina interna. No jantar são muitas pessoas ao mesmo tempo, se demorar fica uma bagunça, comida remexida, algumas vezes comida sem sal. O ponto positivo é uma ilha que muda todos os dias, teve uma noite com pizza, que estavam boas. Realmente fica a desejar o cuidado com os quartos, uma boa reforma seria interessante.
