This Hotel was basic, but in terms of other hotels at present it was reasonable value for money. They do need to improve their breakfast, in that it needs to be kept warm so that it is served hot.

Hotel overbooked so was left stranded
Went to check in and even though I had chosen the option to "pay at hotel" they cancelled my room, and told me they over book rooms for ""no shows" and cancelled my room and resold it,because I hadn't checked in by 2pm. I drove up from Cork to go to a concert in croke park with my husband and little boy, and I was completely stranded. I showed the receptionist the email I wrote to the hotel a few days previous, to make sure everything was in order and to confirm I would be there, but it didn't matter! No one contacted me to tell me they were cancelling my room. I was so upset, my little boy was exhausted, the customer care was terrible. I would have understood they would cancel my room had I not mailed them a few days previous, but the mere fact I did, to make sure my little family and I would have a room and everything was in order, it was so upsetting to just be left stranded. Worst hotel I have ever dealt with in my life, and I go up to Dublin once a month to go to hospital and stay in hotels up there all the time, I don't get out of my appointment until the evening, and I always pay in cash, upon arrival, and there's never an issue because I don't check in at 2pm. But they over booked the hotel, and left people like my family absolutely stranded! We ended up pulling into a garage and sleeping in the car, I had my wheelchair in the boot, so it was so uncomfortable for all of us, my little boy was heartbroken. Never stayed here before but will never stay again!
