The Zanzibar Serena is a lovely hotel in StoneTown. I wish I had stayed there for my leisure/personal visit as well. The staff are lovely. The pool is wonderful. The food is nice. All around, a terrific place to stay and conveniently located.

A beautiful beachside gem!
My stay at Serena was a lovely finale to my trip to Zanzibar. The hotel is beautiful with wonderful historic charm and breathtaking oceanviews. The staff is exceptional and make you feel at home. The location is perfect with shops, restaurants, and landmarks within walking distance.

Wonderful stay
What a lovely hotel! Checked into my room early which was so appreciated. I got to enjoy sweeping views over the ocean - just incredible. The whole hotel is beautiful and charming. The pool area is especially good, with wonderful staff. I also enjoyed a very good massage. Highly recommend this property for a safe and comfortable stay in Stone Town.
