It was fine-- price was right, place was clean and quiet, check in and out was simple. With so much to do outdoors, we were looking for just that in a place to rest between adventures.

Decent spot for a quick overnight sleep. Rooms aren’t large and you get only 2 pillows!

Our First and last stay at Acadia Pines Motel.

I did not expect any frills, but when we arrived we found a door that we had to force open to enter or leave the room; a lamp shade falling apart; a refrigerator that rattled loudly every 20 minutes, or so through the night; and, at best, lukewarm water issuing from the hot water faucet. There was no air of freshness to the room, just the feel and appearance of a very tired establishment. I was not expecting anything fancy and what we found failed to rise to the level of plain.

    Do not stay here

Worst place ive ever stayed at. The room was dirty there was a piece of food with mold and bugs. The smell of the room was so bad we had to get air freshener. Only one light in the room and rest of the appliances not plugged in because there was no outlets. Had to bring coffee pot into the bathroom to plug in to use. The front desk woman was very rude and not helpful. On the sitw we reserved it said the room was 97.00 and they charged us 157.00.

"NO PETS" when the site said "pet-friendly"

We did not stay there!!! Got to the hotel, on the office door was "NO PETS" which your website stated it was pet-friendly. Tried to get the room cancelled but the desk clerk stated I had to contact the website-which I tried to do but got no where. Had to find another place to stay--and out $442.12 that I would like to be credited back to my Discover Card!! PLEASE update your website correctly stating which hotels/motels/cabins are pet friendly! Just hope others don't run into this problem, many have pets that travel with them.

Very disappointing...the hanging ceiling was falling down in one spot, old air conditioner on high and hardly any cool air. Dead bug in mini refrigerator. Old carpet which made my allergies act up. Needless to say my family and I were there 10 mins and left. Ended up refunding us only 1 night, which we planned to stay 2 nights.
