Nice towels
I was treated very kindly upon check-in. Our room is what I expected for the price.. at first. The overall smell of the room wasn't necessarily appealing, but for a small inexpensive roadside motel, it didn't seem out of place. The kids enjoyed the pool and I thought it was small, but it was clean and well kept. We didn't decide to change hotels until I pulled out the sofa bed for the kids. It was clear the sheets were soiled and upon request for clean sheets, I was told I could get fresh ones at the front desk - not happy with this at all. Otherwise, I was impressed with only two things: new comfy towels that EVEN, Holiday Inn, or the Marriott didn't even have (we went to 4 different hotels during our stay) and the tap on the bath tub was the first I can ever remember not leaking when switching the water over to shower.

2 nights family stay.
Water pressure from the shower was not great. Water would not drain down the tub, it took a while for it to drain. Didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment. Bed was not comfortable. Room smelled like cigarettes even though we picked a "non smoking" room. Pool was open and is why I picked this place. Also it has a small gym, maybe 4 people capacity. We saw no bugs but the housekeeping needs to clean better around the toilets and tub. Furniture look like they will need updating soon. The room did come with mini refrigerator, microwave, and a small coffee maker. A/C and TV worked as well. 2 Queen room.

Hotel needs a good cleaning!
The hotel needs a serious cleaning inside and out. Mold outside the ice machine, dirty around it, the hallways and stairs filthy, need vacuuming. Outside the door to the southern unit and workout room/vending was also dirty, everything needs a good cleaning. Checking in, the plexiglass is in bad repair. The window sill was dirty, stains on the bed's overlay. Would not go back again. Did not chance breakfast, given the state of the other public areas of the hotel itself....

Unfortunately the hotel was like most other things these days, short staffed. The manager was very kind and doing everything on his own so some things got less attention. Pool was nice and location perfect for getting on and off I-80.
