Top Guesthouse in a top area. A must.
This guesthouse is a hidden gem in the breathtaking Lousios Gorge, in the heart of the beautiful Peloponnese peninsula. The guesthouse has an incredible mountain view and Aris and Hara have managed not only to keep its style deeply steeped in tradition (you must hear the story of the place from them!) but also to make you feel like part of their home, without being invasive of your privacy: they really know how to treat their guests in the most excellent style. We were efficiently helped in the parking process (never dismiss the importance of this in those ancient Greek roads) and welcomed in the warmest fashion we have seen. The next day we were treated to a delicious traditional breakfast and given tips for things to do and hiking plans (they hear your interests before making their suggestions). Saying goodbye was hard since we only stayed one night due to previous plans. Next time, we will definitely stay longer to explore more the area, and then come back to rest at Aris and Haras’ place.
