Friendly staff, great pool / lounge area, free airport shuttle. Our flight left hours after our checkout, but we were able to stay by the pool and use the hospitality room which was great. Room was ok, not fancy but perfect for our needs. Hotel is right on the beach so you can check out the surf. We also recommend the attached restaurant Tante's - delicious Hawaiian and Filipino cuisine! An absolute treat.

The only reason we were staying at this hotel was because our flight would be arriving late and all of the rental car agencies at the Maui airport would have been closed. Our room was extraordinarily basic – like a hotel room from the 1950s - but it was quiet and clean, and had a good shower, good A/C, and comfortable beds. We were extremely disappointed that the airport shuttle stopped running before our flight arrived, so we had to take a taxi from the airport (even though airport shuttle was part of the amenity fee). We did use the shuttle to return to the airport the next morning to pick up our rental car. The location was convenient enough for us to take care of our necessities in the morning, as it was within walking distance to Foodland, Starbucks, Walgreens, and a good gym.

Initially we were placed in one of the smaller/older rooms. When we pointed out that it was not the room booked, the staff was quite accommodating and placed us in the larger rennovated room. This review asked how we liked the free breakfast, there was no free breakfast.
