    Will stay again
Good, clean and comfortable hotel. Picked it for the jacuzzi in the room, meant getting the Presidential suite, happy with that. An overall good place to stay!

This was a very quick trip for us. The staff was very friendly, the beds and pillows were wonderful, and the breakfast was good.

It wasn’t the worst place to stay.
The hotel it’s self was nice. They had a lot of issues with housekeeping while we were there, it effected our check-in badly, they left dirty towels in our floor outside of the bathroom & didn’t leave clean ones one day, they didn’t empty the trash or make the beds one day bc we were still in the room, they should have came back in my opinion, another gentleman had his room left a mess(beds not made, dirty towels left, no clean towels, bathroom not cleaned, trash not taken out, the same day my towels were left), they blamed new housekeepers, which anyone whose stayed at a hotel knows how they should be kept, not an excuse, other than this incidents it wasn’t a bad stay, & I’d give them another shot.

This hotel was very run down. Paint peeling in the outside, signs weren’t even able to be lit up, the bed linens were thread bare and ripped in multiple places, the pool was dirty, so much so you could t see the bottom.

    Spring Break exhausted the Barrington.
Upon our arrival we were greeted with a smile from one receptionist and a frazzled look from the second. Thankfully, the first receptionist assisted me and quickly my family was on the way to our hotel after a long day at SDC. The room smelled cleaned and looked clean until I found a used eyelash on the bed stand. That was not a good greeting. I then proceeded to thoroughly check the bed sheets and bed. The kiddo wanted to go swimming and I wanted to dip my tired legs into the hot tub. When we go to the pool area is was major overcrowded without any clean towels. I had to walk to the front desk dripping wet and the receptionist was very short with me when I asked for clean towels (she was also the frazzled one). The next morning, we left our room for a hot breakfast which was atrocious! The room is too small to accommodate all the guests and the poor ladies were working themselves to death. I felt very bad for these four ladies because the guests were extremely rude and the kids were behaving badly. We will probably stay at the Barrington on our next visit, but NEVER again over spring break. :)
