Enjoyed my visit other customers was quiet and the airplanes was not so bad I didn't lose any sleep. I relaxed on the balcony enjoyed watching the boats and watching the fish jumping. I would use this Hotel again. Only thing I ask get some air freshener the rooms smell a little stale.

The best deal in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
Ramada is and has been our hotel to stay at during our frequent visits to Sarasota. The price is right and a hearty breakfast is included. The rooms are well kept and clean. Late in the day, it is pleasant to meander along the boat docks. Ramada is probably the best deal in the area.

Beautiful location / Old motel!
We arrived at 2:30 pm and were happy to hear we could check in early. We made our way to the room and the key would not work. Back to the lobby to get a new key. The second key would not work. They send a "maintenance man" to fix the problem. This dude could not tie a shoe! He proceeded to try to get us in to the room for about 45 minutes with tools and gadgets etc. etc. No dice! They finally decide to switch us to the room next door. He comes back with the keys to the new room but pulls the door shut on the old room and locks in our stuff including my wife's purse. At this point I am about to lose it because 90 minutes have gone by. I told him we are going to the bar to have a drink and he was about to crow bar the door open. Another 45 minutes go by and a different maintenance guy comes and tells us our new room is ready. The room was fine but everything in this place is dated and in need of renovations. Its been like that for the last 4 years! The location is beautiful and the tiki bar is fun but it's like trying to put lipstick on a pig! They need to bulldoze this place and start over. We won't try it again until this happens.

Bait n switch.
It is not waterfront like the picture says. That is another building of sold units. It is right under a flight path. The beds slope to the side and are hard. A dog was barking even though they dont allow pets. Someone came pounding on our door at midnight but did not announce they were security. Had the wrong room and scared ys to death. Drunk group talking and lqughing outside our door till midnight until we told them to move. Never again!

Everyone was friendly, but unfortunately the hotel itself leaves more then a lot to be desired, especially since we we found some kind of bugs on the dresser when we got up in the morning. Not a good situation.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Management does not care about!
Worse hotel I have ever stayed at. Obvious that the manger during my stay does not care about the customer. Nor does he take any pride in his work or the establishment. First they would not honor my upgrade even though it came with my Gold member perks. His answer was " I have been a hotel manager for 10 years and I have never heard of an upgrade. I offered to show him my phone screen, but his response was "it doesn't matter". The room smelled really bad of urine, with a giant nasty stain right by my bed, which smelled really strong of urine. They didn't do anything about it. I asked if they had any spray I could use to eliminate the odor. At first I was told no. I said "well, the room smells really bad, and I should not have to sleep next to urine odor. The desk staff then handed me a spray of Lysol! How disgusting! Do not stay here! Below is a photo of the entrance to our room. What kind of management is running this place?
