Okay Hotel, not worth the price
Hotel is convenient to Portsmouth, we walked over to eat and drink on the harbor. It looked like a ferry could take you to the waterfront easily. The rooms were comfortable and good sized. However, there were dirty fingerprints around our entryway and it looked like they had quickly done a renovation with some paint, there was no toilet paper holder it was just available on the vanity a good reach away. The shower was also a little dirty. Not the hotel’s fault but, there were also people yelling and arguing outside of our room at 2:30AM. For the price, I likely wouldn’t return. Check in and staff were super welcoming and friendly though. 5 stars for the staff.

Showed up at 4:17pm and was told that the room I had booked was not available due to rooms still being clean. Unable to give me an estimate of when my room would be available. Not good after being on road for 4 hours and wanting to wash up and change before heading to what you came to town to do. Breakfast was $11 and not even as good as the free breakfast I had gotten the night before at different, “less fancy” hotel.

We always stay here and enjoy ourselves but there are a few things that we are always left dissatisfied with. 1 HATE that you have to leave 2 lights on to be able to have the refrigerator running. If you turn them off then the fridge turns off too. That definitely needs an update! Its especially awful if you have a baby who's a light sleeper. 2 the pool was super murky, looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months. 3 rooks dont have microwaves. Thankfully they were able to find one for us, the next day, but still we got one. 4 if you need anything like a shower chair or something ask early in the day, bc once maintenance leaves you have to wait until the next day. Positives though are its clean, beds are comfy, no bed bugs!, beautiful views, staff is super friendly, great area.
