Magical, wonderful hotel
This was a completely wonderful stay. The hotel was incredible, forming both part of the historic architecture of Carcassone and a modern luxury hotel. Beautiful room with a ginormous bed, great views, and a huge bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The hotel gave us little chocolate castles to eat each night as part of turn-down service! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Each evening my boyfriend and I sat out on the restaurant terrace with a glass of wine and a beer enjoying the garden and evening sun, and wonderful views over the ramparts. We would love to stay here again, it was magical.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms were spacious and the pool and garden area were lovely. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and the library bar was exceptional. Special thanks to Karem for the absolutely delicious drinks and service.

Spectacular location
What a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location inside the medieval city walls. Staff were all so welcoming and kind. The condition of the rooms and bathrooms is not up to modern standards and very poor value for the price. The rates are too high for this quality of hotel. My bathroom sink didn't drain and the shower is an accident waiting to happen with the shower head too low to get under and the shower tub so narrow you almost fall over. I don't want to take anything away from the wonderful staff, but whoever owns this hotel needs to upgrade it if they expect to keep charging these rates.

This is a work-class hotel in the best citadel in France. Hard to get to, but worth it, being inside Le Cite. Costly, but tre chic. Stafff was impeccably attentive. This is where the swells live. Try it once!
