Helpful and happy staff

Really nice welcome at the desk in check in. One of the lifts was out of service so we were directed to use an alternative lift due to the Nineveh of people waiting. On walking through to the alternative lift the hotel appeared somewhat tired and could do with a good spruce up in terms of cleaning and maybe consider the condition of the carpets. Very happy with the room, although from the booking system we expected a bath. There was a nice shower but no bath in our room which my wife was disappointed with. Bed was comfortable, pillows weren’t so much but it didn’t cause us a problem. Staff were amazing, everyone was pleasant and helpful- just what you want from a hotel. Thank you
