Red Roof Inn was very impressive at check out. They allow pets to stay free which is a nice change compared to other hotels. We booked a room for two nights. The first night things were okay. The room next to us was a little noisier than we had hoped for, but it was okay. When we woke up in the morning - there was no power. We called the front desk and were told that they had called the power company. About an hour later the fire alarm started sounding. Shortly after that we were evacuated from our room. We were then told the hotel had to close and we would need to gather our things and leave. There were no alternate accommodations arranged, no further information was given, and no refund for the night we did not get to stay. The situation definitely could have been handled different. Had we not had family in town we would have been stuck driving around until check in at another hotel. It was a mess and I am extremely disappointed that they did not step up and offer a refund for a situation that was COMPLETELY out of our hands and ruined our vacation.

This place was a disappointment. The room might seem nice in the pic but when you walk in floors unfinished. Bed was not comfortable and the place looks dirty.

Employees were very pleasant, but hotel is ran down. Water stains throughout the ceiling, floor boards coming apart from rot damage, floor moist from a/c unit. If my money was refundable I would have checked out.

Were a lot of changes on pet policy that we should have been notified of when booking the room. The breakfast was not up to standards not all that great. I however did appreciate the fact that they have a nice pet area for the dogs.
