I hated this place. The bathroom was broken and they couldn’t fix it. They moved me to another room at 11 pm after i initially complained when we got there. I dont understand what took them so long to move me to another room. The room i moved into has also broken shower. I sucked it up and got up really early and left the hotel. Never coming back to this place.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Small hotel, however parking is extremely limited and really tight for large vehicles (VW Atlas). Came in a little late and had a difficult time finding parking and all around the hotel is a "tow zone" . Front desk agents were very helpful in finding somewhere to park, but would rather not have to deal with the hassle. Covid - staff was wearing masks, plexiglass was up and hand sanitizer was available . Continental breakfast was available via a menu order request the previous night. It was done very well. Staff was friendly upon every encounter. Location of hotel is not the greatest, and GPS takes you through some weird places but i still felt safe at the hotel.

1. We saw few cleaning staff not wearing masks when they enter into rooms to clean, cleaning etc. which means they may be exposing customers to the virus by themselves, I already informed the front-desk about this. 2. When we booked the hotel we book with breakfast buffet included and we paid for it. However when we went there, we just got a yogurt, muffin and apple juice packet delivered to room door step instead, which is 3rd class breakfast (should not lie on the website saying there is a buffet). We need compensation for our money as we have over paid due to lies on the website as there was no buffet breakfast at all.

Very disappointed. Dont expect this to feel like holiday inn. Place is in ghetto area, close to strip club, homeless people on the street, and they are under construction. They placed me in a room and right below me is construction/drilling. I woke up at 8am with banging drill vibrating through walls lasting all day. Had to complain to be moved. No hot breakfast. Expect cereal, yogurt and fruit cups as they can only deliver it. Continental breakfast, pool, and gym closed. No pancakes, bacon/sausage, eggs or waffles from their normal tradition. This felt like a motel. Walls are not soundproof. Best western is way better than this. Also ants in the room. I was reading reviews some people have roaches. I was lucky not to see one maybe because im on 3rd floor but ant problem is there. I will never come back here and that is for sure. Lots of parking because theres barely anyone checked in there. Dont expect a good stay. I thought i would, wife and me very dissapointed. She was arguing with me holiday inn was the best. After this trip she could not comment on the problems we had and ate her words! Lol

Okay, so the room itself was good. It didn’t bother me that they were remodeling. I also enjoyed the inside parking (under). What I didn’t like was they were trying to charge me fees and the pool was closed when it said it was open and reviews said it was open. That’s the MAIN reason we booked with them and my kids literally cried for it! The location is a little sketchy but it’s close to lots of food plus San Diego zoo! But I won’t stay there again.
