Felt safe the whole stay!!! Great Staff
My first impression on this hotel started at the airport. When the person who’s supposed to pick me up was waiting holding a sign with my name on it and a big smile on his face. I knew I’m going to have a great start. The receptionist at the check in counter are all smiles and very friendly. Though the hotel looks old inside, has old smell too, I knew that before I booked it since it was built in1902 I think. My main purpose why I booked it is because it is centrally locates. I can walk outside the hotel and several restaurants and stores are just within walking distance. It also has all the amenities I needed such as the gym ( big enough for all the stuff that I needed to work out),has sauna and steam room, a couple restaurants inside the hotel and the best part of this hotel are the people. They are all accommodating and very friendly. The security over there is impeccable. You get screened thoroughly before you get inside. You really feel safe and secure inside the hotel. Speaking of security . I would like to commend one of the many amazing security personnel at the hotel, Joseph. I had a very embarrassing experience with him. He was just doing his job to make sure everyone in the hotel is safe and I made a big deal out of what he did. He dealt with the situation professionally while I didn’t. He was just doing his job and I deeply regret what I did. I apologized after but still felt bad. Again, thanks Joseph for being an awesome employee. Really all amazing hotel staff

Amazing historic hotel with customer service so attentive and on par with only the best establishments. I stayed here before and after our safari trip and both times it was amazing. I wish hotels like this existed in America where people remembered your name and your preferences and treated you well. I do have to say the service during our first stay was even better than our second stay - the first stay we were given welcome drinks and hot towel on check in and a welcome snack in our room and our rooms were turned over twice a day, the second time no welcome drink or snack and when we asked for our rooms to be turned over the second time the cleaners changed the sign to “do not make up my room” which was disappointing. So deducting 1 star for that.

The room was near the big Street: Kenyatta, which was very noisy in the morning rush hour, and this is a very old five star hotel, swimming pool and fitness center is cool. You will find a lot of choices for breakfast

Absolutely love the Sarova Stanley!
When traveling to Nairobi, there is no other hotel I will ever stay in. The Sarova Stanley's staff, accommodations, and history make it a truly wonderful place to stay. I particularly loved the passion which the staff conveyed about the historical context and importance of the hotel. And their bend-over-backwards efforts to ensure that every part of our stay was excellent.
