    Not real happy

    The women at the front desk were welcoming and very nice but The door to my room would not lock in place and could just open, so i had to make sure the latch was secure so nobody could come in and I felt paranoid the whole night. I told the front desk but they said they didn’t have a maintenance person on the weekend. There was no breakfast other than oatmeal/grits packets with hot water and coffee. The elevator entrance & floor was really filthy the whole weekend. I will not be staying here again.

    Disappointed

    We've stayed at this La Quinta many times over the years since about 2005. It has slowly been allowed to go downhill. This time we really noticed how shabby it is getting. The hall and room carpets need replacement, the toilet seat was wobbly, the shower needs caulking, and the TV service was frustrating. Although they had a beautiful new TV with Dish TV service, the Guide feature was worthless, and the channel control didn't work properly either. We were able to use our Netflix account, so that was good, and the hotel is still very dog friendly. There is much more development around the hotel, so the fields and quiet neighborhood we used to be able to walk to behind the hotel are no longer available (certainly not their fault).

    Definitely staying here again!

    We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay here! The hotel was much nicer than anticipated. Staff, though definitely stretched thin, were friendly, patient and efficient. Our room was very comfortable. The pool area was terrific. Location was great, too - plenty of food and shopping options and a fairly easy drive to downtown.

    First and last time...

    If you want to travel to the 60's this hotel is for you. But really who wants to go back in time, its 2021. The carpets were so dirty, the fridge and microwave so outdated. The service was disappointing 😞 I get it its COVID life now but corporate really needs to do better in supporting the staff. It was so understaffed. We saw the same two ladies the entire week we were there. Also, as per their regulations room service is not available at this time unless you are staying for more than 7 days. And during this time you are to bring your own trash down and your own towels. Ohhh, and there was a big storm during our stay which resulted in power outage. Not sure how long it went out for because as soon as we parked, lights came back. Before parking, my husband went in to talk to front desk and he was shooed away with "we're on the phone with corporate". Thats when we decided to park and wait but power came back shortly after. Overall, disappointed with our stay. It was our first time with La Quinta Inn and definitely our last.

    Pool down but overall clean hotel

    It was overall pretty good but I had booked this hotel so my kids could take a day to swim but when I checked in they said the pool was out of order. I was very disappointed bc it looked really nice and clean and now had just spent money on a room that done us no good. As nice of a hotel it is they should make sure their pool is open during the summer months.
