Pleasant and comfortable stay
We stayed 2 nights at the Hampton Inn Lakeland, FL during the COVID-19 pandemic (December 2020) due to a family emergency. The hotel was very clean, there were disinfecting wipes available directly upon entering the hotel and at each elevator bank. They still offered “real” breakfast safely each morning with mask required, hand sanitizer and disposable gloves provided and required to obtain food and drinks. “Terri”, the food attendant, enforced the safety measures and reminded everyone to wear their mask and wear gloves at all times. The front desk clerks were always polite, our room was very clean when we arrived. We requested NO housekeeping due to COVID-19. The location felt safe, and there’s a Starbucks, Cracker Barrel, and Applebee’s restaurant within walking distance. We didn’t realize Hampton Inn was now part of Hilton hotels. It shows. We enjoyed our stay.

Very clean....breakfast hours severely constructed...0600-0800...really? Try 6-10. Room nice, no need for winter bedspreads in the summer. Applebee’s across the parking lot with good food.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful as was the lady in the dining area. Very polite and attentive. They were the really the only staff i interacted with. The room was very comfortable and clean. Best sleep ive gotten in months. The hotel grounds and common areas were exceptionally clean. Very pleasant stay.
