Nice to have a balcony, spacious room and pool. The one disappointment was the gym where equipment was not maintained and it was very small.

The property was clean and attractive but had no lighting. It was like living in a cave. The lighting was so low that you could not see well enough to read or shave. No luggage rack. No wash cloths or drinking glasses. Worse of all was the constant sounds of semi trucks rumbling up the steep road in front and cars rattleing down the cobble stone street directly behind my room. Get some light in the room and relocate the property to a quiter location and it'd be a 3 or 4 star.

The pool area is amazing. It is very relaxing, you can easily spend hours there just lounging. The hotel rooms are very nice and they usually have balconies that over look the interior of the hotel which is where the pool is located.

As an architect, I really liked looking at the beautiful brick vaults and domes all around the hotel. This, compounded with an a outstanding service and food made me really happy with my choice!
