About this apartment

This 3 bedroom town house is situated in the quiet environs of Edinburgh's Dean Village, an historic enclave by the picturesque Water of Leith. Once a separate village based on the milling industry, it is now part of Edinburgh's West End and is only a 10 minute walk from Princes Street. The Water of Leith walkway passes the front of this development and affords wonderful walks towards the Royal Botanic Gardens and on to Leith. Art lovers might prefer to walk in the other direction taking in the Dean Gallery and the Modern Art Gallery, both renowned for the excellence of their exhibitions. A free bus shuttle will transfer you to the National Gallery on Princes Street, or the Portrait Gallery on Queen Street.The lower floor provides an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with an attractive jettied sitting area affording superb views down the waters of Leith - an ideal spot to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. Ornithologists will enjoy watching the herons and might be lucky enough to see a kingfisher. There is a comfortable set of sofas and chairs grouped around the fire place and TV. Internet access has also been provided. The dining area has an attractive glass dining table which seats up to 6 people comfortably and the kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, plus ample cooking utensils and crockery. A utility room on the same floor provides a washer drier.The accommodation sleeps up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms. It comprises one double bedroom on the lower floor with a separate shower room. Upstairs there is a lovely large bedroom which has a super-king bed, this can be made up as a two singles on request, this room also offers an en-suite bathroom, with shower, bath and toilet. A pretty third bedroom has a single bed and plenty of wardrobe space.A third bathroom with a bath, wash hand basin and WC completes the accommodation.Visitors coming to Edinburgh by car are welcome to use the property's private garage which offers parking for one car.
