This cabin is cozy and well stocked for long stays. The layout works for our family of six. We joked at the name Breathless. Is it the stairs? 😂 The driveway is very steep, our 4x4 didn’t have a problem going up and down, but the minivan wasn’t having it. I couldn’t find the broom and dust pan. The shower is on the small side. The available in cabin wifi saved us because Verizon doesn’t work in this area. Wifi calling enabled on the cellphone worked fine for us. Bottom line. The relaxation meter is an 11 with all the places to sit and relax, watch the wildlife, soak in the hot tub. We all said we could have stayed another week easy.

6/10 Good

Broken bow About a month ago, we rented this beautiful cabin in Broken Bow. We booked it on line, had good communication before we arrived, but that was the end of the good communication. Unfortunately, the house we rented had a really steep driveway . When we got there and tried to make it up the driveway our car was spinning it’s tires, rubber burning smell and we only made it up about halfway. We unloaded 3 of the 4 of us and make a 2nd attempt. It was difficult but we made it up. It looked like they had just laid a fresh gravel of some sort and we were the first renters to drive on it. I am thinking okay once it gets a little use it will be fine to drive on. WAS I EVER WRONG! We left to go buy groceries and returned about 8:00 pm. We went up the driveway again and got stuck again. We unloaded everyone but one but this time but couldn’t get our tires to grab hold at all. We didn’t feel it was safe for the car to sit on a steep incline all night so one of us got in the car to try to take it to the bottom and we decided we were just going to have to walk up and down the driveway for the next two days. My husband has had knee replacement so that was difficult for him. When we put the car in reverse to go back down the hill, the gravel material, which looked more like a slate mixture, pulled the back left tire to the left and almost rolled my car over off the side. The only thing that saved it from a total rollover was a rock and the roots of a tree.
