Highly recommended. Great location.

Lovely, great priced hotel. Rooms at the back are very quiet, couldn't hear traffic or the Metro at the front. Daily floor sweeping could be improved, but otherwise very clean. Ask for a kettle. Hotel location is awesome, a short walk to the u-bahn, just 2 stops to Potzdamer Platz. Two convenient supermarkets in the Potzdamer Platz shopping centre. Don't miss the Berlin Bunker museum nearby the hotel. Two trains to the Airport, approx 45 mins, the Hotel website has the info. Much cheaper than a taxi. There is a great train map on line... Search for s-bahn Berlin, it has u-bahn info as well. Trains from Gleisdreieck at the Hotel are frequent... We generally never had to wait more than 3 minutes. Before we went we were concerned about the area of the hotel which had a fair amount of graffiti and looked a little dodgy on Google maps. But once there we never felt unsafe once, there were always people on the street and at the Gleisdreieck u-bahn. We were also concerned it would be inconvenient away from the centre. However, we would have likely travelled as much on the trains even if we were based centrally, and never really felt too far from anywhere. Recommend the Berlin welcome card, good value for money, saves on museums, and covers all train, bus, and tram journeys. Hotel has a brilliant locker system to leave luggage in on checkout and nice rooftop terrace. Fabulous beer garden just behind U-bahn near the hotel. BRLO IPA 6%, very nice. Wished I went before the last night!
