It’s such a beautiful hotel! Heated pool is the best. Fantastic food & service in the restaurant. Great staff. And I love seeing all wedding activity. My best memories were made here.

Hotel Galvez is our favorite place to stay when we visit Galveston. We have been staying at Galvez 3 to 4 times a year for the past 20 years and every stay has been relaxing and enjoyable. The customer service and hospitality from the moment you pull into the drive till the time you check out is exceptional.

Disappointed with Front Desk Staff
I was there for spring break my daughter and I 3/31-4/2 My stay was okay room was clean and comfortable. My disappointment was with the front desk, I prepaid for my stay via Hotels.com and my credit card was held for the 2 nights and a 30% overage. When brought to the attention of the front desk after there was a bit of conflict to getting the situation resolved.

Very nice but small rooms. Kind of mask crazy, but everyone is even though the Texas governor has dropped the mask mandate. Pretty good restaurant. Great location for sea wall attractions and downtown.
