property has small rooms and appears larger in advertising photos than it actually is. After an initial problem with our booking - the room had apparently been given to someone else - and a challenging discussion about an upgrade which took several hours we finally received an upgraded room which was fine. There is no restaurant in the hotel but the bar is fine. The location is good.

The property is located in an excellent place in Paris, just steps away from Place Concorde and Sienne, as well as the Champs Elysee. The staff is excellent, particularly Antonio the Concierge. Walking distance to several Michelin Star restaurants. Only item to be considered for the management, breakfast does not have the best set up and seems crowded as room is small

I stayed in Sofitel Faubourg on April 16 and 17 only 2 days. I booked the hotel stay thru Expedia. I booked Luxury Room king size but when I arrive the hotel I was told that expedia's web page is wrong and Actually my room is queen size and not luxury. I was told that the check in time at 3:00 Pm and I had to wait till then. We came back to hotel around 2:45 to see if the room is ready and I was told that there is a room available ( receptionist made a comment: even though it is not 3:00 PM but the room ready.. it was 2:45PM ) at first floor looking over courtyard and the half size of the original room that I booked. After traveling 7 hours flight and running around the city all day all I wanted to do is take a shower and we said it is fine. 2 days before I arrive the hotel I send an email to concierge saying that I am not familiar with Paris and if they can help me to book restaurant reservation for 2 nights. When I arrive concierge did not even do anything with booking. I was told by concierge he has more important things to do and he said he will try to book at that day. Evening concierge was left the hotel and no one called or follow up. Hotel situated very close to central area but located in the same street with US Embassy. Be prepared to be stopped by security every single time you try to go in.
