Misión Express Zona Rosa
Loud music all night from staff party
On our first night there was a staff Christmas party in the parking lot where loud music was playing. By 8:30 we were hoping to get an early start the next morning after arriving on the red eye the night before. We called to ask about how long this music would be on for. We’re told not much longer. By 10:00 this was still happening and we called again to ask for them to turn the music off. The front desk said they would tell them to do so and it was supposed to be wrapping up soon. By 11:30 the music and singing still had not stopped. I felt I had no choice after 2 calls so I went down to complain to the front desk. Eventually it seemed to stop while I was waiting in the lobby. I decided to wait a few minutes to make sure. That’s when it started again. I went outside furious that the staff had no regard for paying customers whose only request was to turn off loud music so we could sleep. They tried to negotiate with me by suggesting they turn it “down”. Not off. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. And I had to demand they do so. Me. Not the hotel staff. I went upstairs and about 5 minutes later the music was back on. I went back down again had had to shout at these people. I NEVER shout and argue with hotel staff. So this was a very unusual experience for me. This is also the first time I’ve ever bothered to write a bad review for anything. We eventually got the manager to meet with us at about 12:00am. She did her best to apologize and we accepted. Will not be back.

decent basic hotel
Hotel is fine, clean, pretty good wifi, hot water and A/C worked. Just a little bit farther from Zona Rosa than I expected. It is a long long walk. Hotel staff was nice.

Might as well stay at a hostel.
Remotes for tv and a/c require a deposit and didn't work, bathroom door was broken and got locked in, staff never attempted to fix it, reviews said bilingual staff which was not even close to true, had no hot water one day and absolutely NO WATER for two other days, constant construction, noisy parties that staff did nothing to correct, beds were like concrete, little black flies coming out of shower drain, no water pressure at all, and door card had to be deactivated every 2 days....this was as nice of a review as I could give while being 100 percent honest.

Convenient and charming
The room was large and very well kept. The hotel is centrally located. It does not have a gym.
