About this cottage
The Property:
A beautiful refurbished 2 bedroom bungalow with harbour views towards Hengistbury Head. The property is about 100 yards to the water's edge and is within easy walking distance of Mudeford Quay and Christchurch town centre.
The property is set on one level and has wi-fi as well as USB chargers in the sitting room and both bedrooms. The kitchen / sitting room is modern and bright with harbour views, the kitchen area is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, induction hob and fan oven.
The sitting room has a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD player and contemporary wood burning stove. There is a small utility area housing a washer dryer and a microwave. The property has a small conservatory with dining table and chairs from which there are lovely views over the landscaped gardens and water.
The property has 2 good sized bedrooms. In the master bedroom there is a high quality king size bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, the second bedroom has 2 good quality single beds and access to the totally secure rear garden. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower over.
The fully enclosed small rear garden offers plenty of privacy and is a peaceful place to soak up the sun. The garden has a corner seating area with table and chairs. The front garden has a variety of plants and shrubs with beautiful harbour views. There is plenty of space on the driveway to park 2 cars.
The property is very dog friendly and welcomes up to 2 dogs, they even have their own outside hot water dog shower!
The Area:
Within walking distance there are 2 pubs, an award winning Fish & Chip shop and the renowned "Jetty" restaurant.
Mudeford quay is approximately 20 minute walk away, plenty of payable parking too. The quay has a lovely fresh fish stall as well as a pub and cafe. From the quay you can walk to Avon beach or catch the boat over to Hengistbury head which has beautiful beaches and views of the Purbecks.
The New Forest is a short drive away and an amazing place to enjoy long walks or cycling in unspoiled countryside. There are plenty of country pubs and tea rooms scattered through the area.
Bournemouth town centre is approximately 15 minute drive away and has a good selection of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
This really is a very special location with plenty to do to suit all ages.

Accommodation very clean. We picked it as wife has mobility problems and its on the flat However, could do with some supports for shower, which is in the bath which presents a challenge. Good position, walking distance to Harbour, easy to get to Christchurch, can walk across the nature reserve.

Fantastic
We have just returned from a lovely weeks holiday at Cest La Vie in Mudeford. The property is fantastic , very clean and modern . There is everything you could ever need including food mixer, cafeteirre and all good quality decor. The garden has a very nice patio and seating area and is a lovely sun trap . There are a couple of really nice pubs nearby and Mudeford Quay, Christchurch and Avon Beach are all within walking distance. I would definitely return here and can highly recommend it . Many thanks to the owners for the welcome card and bottle of wine we received on arrival .
