Very good in difficult times!
Stay was good. In the circumstances, given Covid situation, the hotel did really well. The situation meant that the stay was necessarily constrained but the hotel performed well given the pressures.

Hotel doing well to welcome visitors
The hotel did really well to make everyone welcome while keeping to Covid Secure requirements. They were attentive to need for a secure storage space. It has a very good location on one side - overlooking the marina. Currently seperated from the City by an appalling busy dual carraigeway but there is a rather grand bridge being built so it will be better in the near future. There are a lot of very interesting parts of the City Centre well worth walking around.

Difficult times for hotels. Staff excellent. Lunch and breakfast very good. Very good location and no issues parking. Hotel rooms a little tired but comfortable and clean. Some noise from corridors (other inconsiderate guests) slight problem if near lifts. Request rooms end of corridor if light sleeper.

Good location
The hotel is ok, room was dated and probably due a refurbishment or paint job. It was very clean which during Covid was excellent to see. No fridge, no safe. It had bath and shower with toiletries. Good TV, iron available. Very spacious with comfortable double bed and sofa. The staff were all great and very friendly and helpful with a swift check in. Beware there is £10 per night parking charge and this is buried mikes down the T&Cs on Hotel.com website. It would have made a difference when i booked. I checked booking.com and Expedia who i usually book with and its quite clear as you are booking it

Change the bed and linen and...
Bed stank - either damp untouched for a long time or someone had vomited in the bed - disgusting! Also, no complimentary water. Again, dreadful for an hotel that's meant to have a good rating. No phone by my bed.

Not the fault of the hotel fully, due to Covid. But, i didn't feel welcome. only room service for both drinks and food, but the pub the other side of the marina offers both, at a table.

Good location but very tired hotel.
Good value for one night’s stay but the hotel is tired and old. Needs a refurb and in a lower league than a Premier Inn family room. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Shower unit head came out the wall at the side at chest height for most people so was awkward to get under it.

A three star hotel
Staff were friendly , room was next to car park hence was a bit noisy, very limited tea tray in the room with cheap coffee sachets. Modest breakfast with no much varieties.
