Short overnight stay
Very short overnight stay but great value for midweek. Clean and well presented.

Excellent
Great location. Very attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. No problems. Room was quite warm.

Stopped at the Duke of Cornwall because it was close to the concert at the Pavilions. I understand the hotel was built in 1863, I think that was the time of the last refurbishment.. Apart from the tv in the bedroom it's VERY old and dated.

Excellent
The whole experience of staying at the hotel was very positive and I brought my dog and we were both made very welcome. Staff were friendly and helpful and I really liked the location and being a woman alone felt very safe. Although not modern but I loved it as the hotel had character.

Comfy
This is a lovely characterful hotel in a great location. Our twin room was very comfortable and a good size for the price we paid. We were lucky to have parking space too. We didn’t have the breakfast but had a snack in the lounge area which was nicely prepared and good that there was something for vegans. Would definitely stay there again.
