Mystic Hotel
Very Good8.0
Great room. Dark Hallways.
I enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again. I was in SF for a conference and found this hotel was within walking distance to everywhere I needed to be. I walked everywhere I went, and caught a trolley once or twice. It's a long and hilly walk to Fisherman's Wharf area, but doable if you're feeling adventurous. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but had everything I needed. I liked that it didn't look or feel like a typical hotel room. It was nice to grab a cookie coming back to my room at the end of a long day, too! The only thing I did not like about the hotel were the dark hallways. They were dark day or night and that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The elevator is small, old, and slow. I used it, but the hotel is small enough I used the stairs quite a bit, too (I was on the 7th floor).

Vintage, chic hotel in the Financial District
Vintage, chic boutique hotel in the Financial District situated within walking distance to transportation, shopping, Chinatown and North Beach. Self-Park available around the corner. Trendy bar and restaurant with live music on the second floor. Bed was comfortable. Elevator has landmark historical status. Eight floors.

A nice little stop in San Francisco
It is an older hotel, but kept up nicely. It is in a very convenient location- close to a cable car line, restaurants and shops. The staff is very attentive and professional.

The only issue with my stay is that I've been awaken at 6:00 am by the garbage trucks noise.

Loud hotel needs updating
Would not recommend, to start, the noise was horrible. I was woken up several times from the people above me, people knocking on my door at midnight then the trash men in the alley at 6am. Absolutely no noise control or filter whatsoever, you can hear everything. Bed was not comfortable and the hotel vastly needs updating. Carpet on the stairs is showing signs of wear, ripping, doesn’t look nice. Overall, if you want to get any sleep I would recommend spending $30-40 more dollars and stay somewhere nicer.
