I asked to check in an hour early. We were given the keys, however housekeeping was short staffed. So we had to get ready for the game in the hotel bathroom and car. Our room had a streetlight that shined directly in our eyes when we tried going to sleep. No shade or drapes to block it. The walls seemed paper thin. We could hear showers, flushing from other rooms and talking in the halls. The complimentary soap is horrible. The positive experience was the front desk staff was very friendly. Also I loved the room and the murals in the rooms and throughout the hotel. Also very convenient to area nightlife and restaurants.

Poor Communication
It was not communicated to me that I would be staying in one room for 2 nights and switch to another room for my 3rd night. I received a call on Friday around noon that I needed to remove my items out of my room to move into another and I was in the middle of working an expo which was very inconvenient. I left my booth to go to the hotel and remove my things and went to the front to check into the new room and I was told that the room wasn't even available. Very disappointed at the poor communication on this. I also had a clogged sink and broken light in my bathroom.

The staff were great!!! And the hotel was very clean which is very important to me. The only thing I would like to Say that was negative was the lack of water pressure in the shower.

Disappointing Stay
This was an "OK" hotel. I was expecting more for the decor/themed rooms it boasts about. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the breakfast, which is scheduled to start at 6:30 a.m. However, both days I was there, the staff did not having anything ready at that time. They were still getting food into the eatery and getting things set up, so breakfast really wasn't ready until 7 a.m. This may be fine for some, but when you're on a business trip and have a strict timeline this is not convenient.

Don't stay here. You will regret it and pay too mu
This hotel used to be cute. Someone put a lot of creativity into designing these rooms. However, it's not cute anymore. It's run down and the service is poor. Our hard bed did not have a blanket or comforter on it. When I went down to the front desk, which was required because the front desk was too busy to answer the phone, I was told they didn't have any. There was no desk in the room for working. Our bathroom towels we're so threadbare you could see through them. I'm glad I didn't try to sleep in because the hotel cleaning staff stood in the hallway discussing their cleaning schedule at 9:30 am. I know this because I could hear them talking from my roomb with the door closed. One of them even asked what room I was leaving so she could know if she could clean it. This part of town has good restaurants but parking for the hotel is impossible because it shares the lot with another business. You will likely have to park down the block. The breakfast was terrible. They only had cereal and yogurt.
