Hotel is amazing took the tour : ) As far as trying to eat at the hotel very trying... Wanted to eat at the Mexican food by the front door. they had open tables and turned me away with a 1.5 hour wait. came back one hour later and even more open tables. Went around the corner to the Italy dining sat right away. Next morning went to the center patio for breakfast and was ALMOST turned away again. said they stopped serving and 10:15 and I look at my watch and it was 10:15 AM and I said with enthusiasm perfect just in time. and she replied OK but you will have to pick your entre quickly. OK it just breakfast. and to wait 10 minutes to be seated hundred open tables, and the food was satisfactory/good.

Charming place for a getaway
The Mission Inn Hotel experience was a pleasant one. Truly a breathtaking and unique property. Perfect hotel for a romantic getaway or special occasion. Would be nice to see a little more updates and renovation in the rooms where the once used balconies would become usable again.

Dissappointed
I have always wanted to stay at this historic hotel but was disappointed. I twas raining while we were there and they had buckets everywhere. I was surprised that they charged for WiFi. It seems to need a lot of work on the outside and is not maintained very well. I was surprised with it being a 4 star how run down it was on the outside. Rome was nice except for the pillows.
