One of the things that stood out most about this hotel was the staff. It was a pleasure to be served by such an amazing group of people. Xiomara and Kenia were the two women we dealt with most at the front desk. They were very welcoming and helpful. Ruddy and Vanessa were waiters in the dining area that made us feel at home and made our dining experience excellent. We ate both the breakfast and poolside meals and also ordered room service. The food was always amazing and the service was spectacular. Finally, Roberto provided us taxi service during our stay and provided great service as well at a good price. Overall Nicaragua is a beautiful country and the people there were all very nice and welcoming. The only thing I would suggest is that the hotel provide options for excursions. We went to areas like Granada, volcan Masaya and San Juan del sur through taxi service and met wonderful people along the way but it would have been easier for us if the hotel had day trip packages set up for us to choose from. We encourage everyone to visit Nicaragua!

The pool, rooms, and service were the highlight of the stay. Staff at the front desk answered all our questions and provided excellent suggestions. The food was subpar at best.

The overall space at the Camino Real has always been, and remains, very nice...a good first night in Nicaragua with palm trees, swimming pool and breezy open air feeling. The rooms though, for the price paid, are subpar...nothing bad but pretty bland. No coffee machine in the room and no free bottle of water nor refrigerator are downsides too. Breakfast was excellent and service was overall good
