No ice, no service.
Overall the lobby and everything was awesome, service and ammenties not so much, 0 water pressure, no one was helpful when we needed ice, kitchen said they couldn't give us ice because the cooks had left, cops were in the adjacent parking lot for hours and then they left and we heard several gun shots and people scatter, definitely did not feel safe leaving my car parked with all my tools in it. And after the gun shots wasn't about to walk to get ice. For 200.00 a night definitely feel ripped off but between California and Texas not alot of options to stay.

Weekday getaway
The location was central to downtown Albuquerque, unfortunately there was street noise that could be heard in the room but overall the room was comfortable and clean. Some of the staff went out of there way to meet our needs

Many fine points, beautiful hotel.
Beautiful hotel. We loved the fact that it was a restored classic. Room was comfortable. Dining room was nice, but no other restaurants within walking distance, and walking at night was eerie. No other people on the street. One issue: late night noise in adjoining parking lot was so bad and ended with fireworks at 2am. We checked out early to avoid another night of the same.

It was a nice and cozy stay. Staff was superb. The only complain I have is at night being in the middle of downtown sounded like we were at a drag race strip people reving and and doing burn outs. Other than that it was a great stay.

Staff was kind and welcoming, but......
The Hotel Andaluz needs some serious updating. The lobby is lovely, but our room on the 9th floor was really worn. The carpet was torn in places, and the reading lights above one of the beds were out. One of the locks on the window was completely broken, and other overhead lights in the room did not work. The street in front of the hotel also seems to be a very popular cruising spot (even on a Sunday), and we had to listen to loud traffic and music, revving engines, and squealing tires late into the night. When we checked in, the staff was very gracious and kind. As we were only staying there one night, we did not request a different room.

Great location
Nice hotel and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable but didn’t seem prepared for three adults in a room. Had to request everything for the sofa bed set up.
