Its a nice hotel. Amenities are limited due to Covid. They should be more upfront about what is amenities are available. Coffee is available in the lobby, you just have to ask. A GrabnGo breakfast is available, you just have to ask. Etc.

Hotel was crowded and with covid upkeep and cleaning should have been better. Room was cramped and air quality in room was poor. We requested a non smoking room and at one point during the morning literally smelled smoke coming through some vent in the bathroom. Horrible. Breakfast was honestly the only good thing. Will never come back here. Luckily it was only 1 night as we were passing through.

Check-in was a breeze. The staff took great care to make sure everything was clean and disinfected. The location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants downtown.

Cards only no cash
Booked my room on line. When I got to the hotel to check in and pay was told that I could only pay with a card. I only had cash on me. Wish the web site would of said only cards at check in.

Downtown Des Moines
Our stay was fine. COVID travel is different and is expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Premises and room were well kept and clean. As it is downtown is was a bit noisy.
