Great Stay. Very Happy
Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. I really appreciated having the hotel shuttle pick me up at the airport. They were right on time. Chicago is such a ripoff City with excessive tolls and ridiculous fees on ride sharing that this is a great benefit.

Good
It was a peaceful spot besides the occasional sketchy characters and smell of weed in the halls, and a maid for some reason wanted to watch me all the way to my room and when i stared back she disappeared behind a corner. For the price and type of room it should be cleaner, there were yellow stains on the blanket and white stains on the couch and most likely other places. So. A little disappointed. Check in was easy

The staff was friendly but, the hotel was kind of shady. The people that live there were making loud noises down the hallway two nights in a row between 3am-4am. They never came to clean my room in 5 days or give me new towels. I didn’t stay the full length I booked for.

On my next to last day there I asked the desk person if I could have a late check out. My flight was moved later than I originally booked and with covid there wasnt anywhere I could go hang out. The deskperson told me the latest checkout possible was 11, which was checkout. I was thoroughly confused as I had double checked on their Google page and it said 12 (I later saw their webpage did say 11, but this added to my confusion) I asked him to clarify and he just kind of seemed to get annoyed and said the latest checkout I could have was 11. Seeing as how that was the regular checkout the answer confused me, but then I got what he was saying, but this seemed to annoy him. I also told this same deskperson my key wasnt working and he just asked my room number and made me another one without seeming to check it on the computer or ask me for ID or what my name was to confirm it was my room. Again not a huge deal, but enough to put me off more. The next day I asked about the shuttle. The person I asked (I assumed a day manager) was annoyed and told me I needed to book far in advance. I waited to ask because of the big deal about not being able to book in advance last time I stayed there. He then looked up my room number and told me there would be a 25 dollar charge because I was an "Expedia" customer quite snottily. I cant find any other Expedia customers this happened to and I think he was just trying to tip me off or dissuade me from using it. I will not be staying again.

Very good
Our room was very clean and quiet. The 1st floor seems to have some semi-permanent residents living there. There was no breakfast (covid times).

STAY AWAY from this hotel
Don't go to this hotel!! Let me preface this by saying, it's actually a nice hotel, I've stayed there multiple times before when visiting that area with no issues. First I'll address the room. The outlet near the bed didn't work, so instead of fixing it they ran an extension cord from the bathroom to power the clock and just taped it to the carpet with blue painters tape, end of the world, definitely not, I just have higher expectations. Now to why you shouldn't stay at this hotel right now. The local community, since hotels are rather empty right now because of Covid, decided to put homeless people in hotels because they don't want them on the streets because of the virus. THIS IS A COVID HOTEL!! Nothing personal against homeless people, but these were all degenerates. You couldn't walk in or out any of the doors without walking through several people outside smoking. The hallways wreaked of marijuana. Here's the best part, someone was stabbed there last night 10/31. I heard a bunch of commotion so I opened my door which looked down into the lobby, and there was a guy laying on the floor bleeding everywhere, he'd been stabbed multiple times by a homeless guy staying at the hotel. The police and fire department responded quickly and we then were not able to leave our rooms for several hours.
