GreenTree Pasadena Inn

Must say I was very disappointed. I have stayed here many times over the last few years - their location is very good being near ‘central’ Pasadena - but they have not maintained the place at all. The housekeepers should be replaced along with the maintainance crew. Walls and floors had stains and gaps in floor tiles. TOILET not well cleaned, spiders in tub, looks as though they downgraded the towels as well. Need to find a new place to stay.

Nice comfortable and clean room. Felt very safe staying here. Very friendly staff at check in.

I stayed for one night I paid throuhh hotels.com bit they held $105 deposit on my CC and said I would be fully refunded upon check out. When I looked at my CC charges I saw an addtl charge for $78 when I called to ask them why they said I was a no show. I said how is that possible if I never showed up how did you get my CC to hold the deposit. They said they need to call the manager to see what they can do. If you stay here make sure you check your CC charges afterwards.

This is a fine place to stay. Clean, acceptable, updated. However, I had a bad experience here. When I checked in, the front desk person took my ID (as expected) but then they forgot to give it back to me and I forgot to ask for it. 24 hours later after I'd checked out and left Pasadena, I realized I didn't have my drivers license. I called the hotel. They had it. I drove two hours back to Pasadena to get my license. The same person who'd checked me in the night before was there. I asked why nobody had bothered to try to return my ID to me when they had my phone number, my room number, and my email address. They said they'd called the room. I said I'd never received a call. They shrugged and said it must not have gone through. They said they left a note on my account but when I checked out, nobody said anything. When I worked in customer service, if someone lost a wallet or ID, we tried our hardest to get it back to them without having the benefit of a computer system with all of their contact information. I realize it was partially my fault for being absentminded, and I will never stay here again. Four extra hours of driving through highway construction is not how I wanted to spend one of my few nights in California.

Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable enough. No couch and the so called breakfast was a joke. Expected way more for the price.

We had a nice stay. It was a nice neighborhood that was very walkable and had plenty of choices for meals.

I love this place all the luxury of those more expensive hotels just blocks away but no fee for parking and customer service and hospitality that is unrivaled when not in a pandemic amazing restaurant on site and breakfast that knocks it out the park I highly recommend you try out this pasadena historic gem.

I liked the location, it's close to plenty of food and grocery stores. They had a vending machine but didn't work, which was not very convenient. They also did not have toothbrushes so I had to go buy it at night. As long as you bring your toiletries and water, you will be fine. The shampoo, Conditioner and hand soap smells delicious and clean!
