My disappointment comes with Turnkey Vacation Rentals, the management company. After reading recent reviews naming a broken toilet, imagine my frustration of the same toilet not working when we arrived. We called a plumber, he came, fixed it and no further problems. My biggest complaint is entry door access. Our code did not work the day we arrived. Had to call and it took quite a while to get us in. Then after arriving home from a long day and night on Friday, our entry code did not work again! Had to call again and again took a while. Very exhausting. My opinion: Homeowner, go to a new management company quick! Your home is lovely!

The only thing that was bad was the huge spiders that were found in the basement. Other than that we had a peaceful and relaxing time.

We loved the location and the house was well equipped. It does need some updating and there were several bulbs that needed changing. It was the perfect type of house for our family and we did have a wonderful family vacation.

Property was great. Location was perfect and being able to walk to the beach was great. Might suggest replacing the shower curtains in the upstairs bathrooms. They were kinda gross and discolored. Otherwise really nice house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is beautiful. The neighborhood is about 5 miles south of town of Port A. The walk to the beach is about 150 yards. The house is well appointed and has a great layout for large groups/families. There are plenty of pans, dishes, glasses, utensils (though you should bring your own knives). There is a blender and 3 coffee makers-incl a keurig, a toaster. The pots and pans are low grade but usable. There are minimal towels in the home so bring your own beach towels. There were some maintenance issues with the home. When we arrived there was a broken chair, stains on sofa, 2 exterior doors that wouldn't lock (never could get them to lock), stains in refrigerator and no door shelves in refrigerator, a toilet paper dispenser was broken and set on shelf. A door handle was just laying on table outside. The grill was not cleaned. The grill is an electric grill but worked just fine for our needs. There is no broom available and with all the sand I'd recommend bringing a broom. The upstairs tvs did not work. They would turn on but there was no cable box so nothing came onto the tv. The downstairs area was great but the mattresses were shallow and not the best but work just fine for kids. The kids loved the downstairs area and it is a great place to let them have their own area to stay up late. There are MANY stairs in this house so if you have any mobility issues at all don't rent here. I work out and am healthy and my legs were really tight and sore by the time we left. The tap water is not great so I recommend bringing bottled water. The ice maker in the refrigerator doesn't keep up with needs so bring ice. The upstairs mattresses weren't great but the master seemed to be fine. The decor and furnishings were lovely and really had a "beachy" feel. I would recommend getting a golf cart for hauling things to the beach. Overall we loved our stay at this house and would definitely return, especially once the few minor maintenance issues are resolved.

We really enjoyed the property and it’s proximity to the beach. Great house for family to gather and enjoy each other’s company.
