Not satisfied
No face cloths in the rooms, was told to check the stash closet for some, never found any so bought some from the store. Fire pits didn’t work, keep going on and off. When sitting outside kept having people ask for money. Fire alarm went off before 5 am, tried to call front desk with no one answering, we went down six flights of stairs, the valet person didn’t know the alarm was for the hotel. Went inside and the person at the front desk just laughed and said this happens often. Not sure if I would ever stay here again.

Nice hotel
It was a nice hotel. Bar didnt have many food choices or alcohol choices. Very limited and pretty expensive. Room was nice and had a great view of the bridge and river!

Not worth the money
This hotel didn't have room service, you have to schedule cleaning, even trash pick up, they have the nerve to have tons of blues records and no record player in the lobby. They mean to be funky chic, but they just end up being more of an expensive hostel. For $160 a night I expected way more. You can even tell that they have a cafe and no one mentioned it at check in. They do however give you free liquor tokens. So I guess that was cool. Pretty showers, good water pressure.

Poor
Property itself was great. The 1000 I was charged for a 300 weekend was not great.

When I arrived at the MOXY I told them I was aware that check-in was at 3pm, but that I was here and if there was anything they could do it would be highly appreciated. I could tell that the staff was doing everything in their power to accommodate me, however being in the hospitality industry myself, and understanding a low staff rate with COVID going on, they were not able to get me the room I requested before 3pm. The staff was highly courteous in offering to hold my bags until 3pm and offered me anything from a snack to a cocktail to coffee free of charge. I was so exhausted I couldn't bring myself to go explore, so I hung out in their lobby for a few hours, which offers comfortable seating, free internet, and a plethora of games. The staff was highly conscientious to make sure they checked in with me often as to give me updates, which I appreciated. Once I got to my room, unfortunately the AC was malfunctioning so I asked for an engineer, who came within 5 minutes of the request. He was unable to fix the unit, so within yet another 5 mins, they had called me, made new keys, and sent me to another room. The room was clean, aesthetically pleasing, had comfortable mattresses, and the shower... wow; one of the best I've ever taken. The thing I loved the most about this hotel was the staff... They made me feel welcome, were courteous, knowledgeable, and very quick to fix minor issues. 4.5/5.
