COVID TIMES - Were’s the Plug In

The hotel definitely needs to be renovated it is older. Trying to find a plug in for your phone is an adventure!! But the linens are top notch and you are basically just sleeping there and spending the rest of your time in the Mall. During these COVID times you will have to order out, use a food delivery service as there is no room service! The employees are very kind and helpful.

    Coach

The stay was amazing, I think for the price we pay for a theme room the rooms could be maintained a bit better, we were in the coach room and the coach was quite dusty, in need of some paint , I think the lighting could be improved to replace bulbs with candle shaped bulbs to go with the theme

    Not worth the price

Covid precautions were good. Unfortunately the room was disappointing. We stayed in the Polynesian room which was my first and probably last time staying in a theme room. The room had a funky smell the minute we walked in but we shrugged it off thinking it will go away after awhile of being there using the tub and eating food ect. The tub was great really big situated nicely to see the tv as we relaxed. That was really the nicest thing in there. The amount of money one spends on those rooms you would think it would be updated. Nope it’s like time warping back to the 80s. Prior to using the tub we figured out why the room smelt. There was a huge wet spot on the rug by the tub. I think the tub is either leaking or whoever used the room prior to us overflowed the tub and the hotel never dried the rug properly. I didn’t bother telling the hotel staff as we were already settled and didn’t want to leave the room late at night. Either way the smell never left the room. The tv is small, there’s no complimentary robes the shampoo and soaps offered are horrible the lotion doesn’t even smooth dry skin. Hooking up to the wifi is so painful I gave up. Honestly what I’m trying to say is for the price one pays to stay here is not worth it at all. Next time I’ll stay across the street or somewhere more classy that has a continental breakfast at least!

  • 2,0.Poor

It is terrible. The rooms were poorly renovated and are now half the size as before, totally dark with lack of lighting, poor painting and just cheap looking. The bed was so close to the walls on 3 sides that I had to scrape my whole body along the bed to get in. Ridiculous for $300. No water glasses provided. You can go down to the bar and ask for paper ones if you need them. Hotel staff are awful. I asked for a detailed receipt of my transaction, and the desk clerk acted like I had 2 heads. She and her partner started yapping in Tagalog and looking at me. Just rude. Paid $25 to park in “secured” parking where they just left the gate open most of the time unmonitored. The bar had great food, as did the restaurant. Of course, they are not owned by this lousy hotel. Terribly disappointed. I tried to call and talk to manager, but front desk would not get me through to anyone. Just wanted to know if it had anything to do with the front desk. Gee. Maybe they saw my name on call display. Last visit for us.

    Outdated and overpriced....

The room was very old, only 1 plug worked in the entire room, very dusty in the corners and temperature took forever to cool down (it was 27 degrees when we entered the room). It was late so we did not inform the front desk. When checking out in the morning I advised the clerk of the issues, he was very rude and said that what happens when you book though a different website... absolutely rude and infuriating! I have never had issues with any other hotel when using Hotels.com and was never treated differently until now.
