Very Good8.0
Great value for money
Spacious rooms with good coffee-making facilities and a fridge. V close to amenities. The staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed a fantastic curry in the restaurant downstairs on the night we arrived. Beds were super comfortable and the building work next door did not bother us once. One day our room servicing was overlooked which was a pity as we’d walked miles that day and wanted to arrive home to a clean room. Our room also had a funny smell which we thought may have been dirty carpets. Wifi was down for 24 hours.

I never wrote down any reviews in my life because I believe my review may impact one's business in a negative ways. However I wanted to leave my first review about this hotel since this hotel was very disapoint. 1.Bathroom smelled moldy. Smelled more like wet towels have been left somewhere for long time or shower curtain was not changed for long time. 2.Plastic veneer/or coating on toilet seat cover was all torn down. 3.Dark stains on the bathtub were noted. 4.As soon as the hair dryer was turned on, it stareted to smoke with burning smell. Front desk was informed about this issue. A staff member brought another hair dryer. As soon as the new hair dryer was turned on, same thing happened, smoke and burn. The staff member just shut off the outlet in the bathroom. Two good things about the stay at this hotel were: 1. Location- It was conveniently located for us. 2. Parking- Parking is $35 +Tax? , and I believe this is relatively sub-average to othet NYC hotels' parking fees. Would I stay here again? *yes, if I find a good deal, maybe if the price is substantially lower than surrounding hotels *If price is about the same or just a little bit better priced than others, I will rather pay a little more to try other hotels. I learned my lesson this time.

Best Boutique Hotel in New York
This is the best boutique hotel in New York. I discovered it by chance but am so happy that I did. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the location was the best. I was there for medical follow up so it was close to Sloan Kettering but also close to the activities on Broadway to keep me busy. I will be back to this hotel for sure.
