Great stay!
Great stay at Hotel Lombardy. Our major transportation was the Farragut West Metro station which is a 5 min walk from the Hotel. Check-in was quick, services was great. I would stay here again if I visited DC again. The only negative was our last night we heard a lot of creaking noise from our upstairs neighbors. This is probably because its an old building.

Lombardy
We loved the Hotel Lombardy, it is intimate, attractive and quiet. The service was great and we would definitely go back there. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to try the restaurant or bar but loved the atmosphere and look forward to trying it next time.

Charming Hotel
Our second Christmas visit was very comfortable and convenient. Great location for visiting the sites. The room and updated bathroom were very nice, bed and bedding excellent and clean. Terrible view of adjacent building and very leaky window in bathroom (412) Heating system was quite noisy and TV picture was not good. There shoud be written instructions for TV remote as well as invitations to visit the wonderful bar/lounge and restaurant. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was an additional cost and a bit pricey. We were spoiled in 2021, when we were upgraded at check on to a suite with a view of the city and breakfast was included in the booking price. As retired military seniors we were most appreciative! Perhaps the hotel is under different management or ownership this year. Nonetheless, a pleasant stay.

Service above all . A classy place
I love the Lombardy. Beautiful classy hotel with character and the best service I’ve experienced. Alejandro is great at the front desk and also a young lady and another man are great at their jobs service is top notch! The valets/attendants are excellen! Admasu is very friendly and great at his job , he always offers to help me with my bags and makes you feel welcome. The cafe/restaurant is maybe my favorite part of the Lombardy, I’ve only had breakfast here but they are so attentive, the food is amazing always , and they are very helpful and great with making things the way you like and just making sure you have everything you need. I usually take. Y breakfast in my room, but the seating area is very neat and cute I’d eat here even if I wasn’t staying here. They have a spacious lounge/ bar room in the back with great atmosphere.

short and not so sweet
Room was a little tired with rug coming up at bathroom door and bathroom windows dirty. I used valet and when I got my car back the next day, my seat position (back, height, closeness to steering column),steering wheel, and mirrors had all been changed. No reason for this to park in a garage around the corner so did someone go for a joy ride? The fellows working valet both days were my height or taller so all the more curious why my seat was so close to steering wheel. I also had to ring the bell at reception to get help. It should be manned at all time at a luxury property. I could hear the clerk visiting with someone in the back office so they weren’t doing work. I really expected more from this property and staff- especially for the price.
