The staff were super helpful, friendly and helpful. In particular Christina made us so welcome and confortable at the hotel. She arranged for a doctor to come as I was poorly, upgraded our room with no charge and accommodated our other requirements professionally. She was the star there along with other staff of course.

This hotel is very central if you arrive at the Abando Station but not the Intermodal. The young lady at the reception was very friendly and was eager to provide information to a firt-time visitor to Bilbao. The superior room on the top floor was spacious but probably not that much better than a standard room for this category of hotels, except for the size. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working properly; perhaps the system is not designed to cope with a sunny day at 25 C in late October.
