5 stars for location
Proximity to train station excellent. Fairly central point for sightseeing Newcastle. Some rooms are very dated and others have been updated to an o.k. standard. Not a hotel room to lounge in but there is so much to see and do in Newcastle even when its raining you wont be spending much time in the room except to sleep. Beds are comfortable and the noise level at night was minimal.

A night away with my niece . Didn’t have a lot of time to spare and enjoy the whole hotel but will come back
Sandra, gb1 night family trip
Fair 4,0
Hotel was very clean well situated with extremely friendly staff however our stay was spoiled by the condition of the mattress which was Badly in need of a replacement. The springs on the mattresses had gone causing it to be noisy to movement lumpy uneven and uncomfortable preventing any kind of decent nights sleep.
