My reservation was pre-paid through Expedia. My credit card was almost immediately charged. When I checked out on 12/20/2018 the desk employee wanted my credit card to charge me the room cost AGAIN. Fortunately I was able to show him that my credit card was charged the exact amount found on my printed reservation. This "screw-up" and the lengthy argument I had with the employee almost caused me to miss my flight to Foz do Iguacu. This state of affairs is totally unacceptable. I don't know the reason for which I was asked to pay twice (and I do not care) but this major blunder is a stain on this otherwise good hotel. I am returning on another pre-paid reservation tomorrow and I certainly do not expect nor will tolerate a similar situation
