    Its okay

Check in was easy enough. Outdoor door, leading to indoor rooms, was ajar and did not lock. Room was very warm coming in and the ac unit was on. Cold air was blowing out so not sure if it was just turned on prior to arrival. Window in room worked so opened window for cool air, blinds did not work so well. Pool looked nice people were swimming. Cool room decor. No usb plug in. Light bulb burned out in bathroom and light switch cover missing on one of the outlets in the bathroom. Overall okay for single night but wouldn’t want to stay longer than a day or two.

If you need a clean room it’s good.

The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. They were very short with customers. and would then talk about other customers when they were out of ear shout. Few amenities;(could be covid related) no microwaves no mini fridge . Pool had so many floating bugs. Place was very clean . Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. They should take over the reception.

    Bad choice

It was terrible. Checking in on a Friday afternoon before Memorial Day, there was no one at the reception when we got there. We waited 10-15 mins for someone to show up to check us in. At a first sight the room was nice. In fact, we booked the hotel because the pictures of the room looked good. It went downhill from there. The water in the bathroom sink was coming out in a tiny stream that you could hardly wash your hands. The shower didn’t drain. The TV was broken. We killed a spider on the wall as soon as we got there. Then we noticed a sticky trap under the AC unit—probably because spiders and other bugs are not just a random occurrence. Anyway, the worst part about this were not issues with the room, since admittedly that can happen, but the staff’s handling of it. We called the front desk 3 times with no answer, then walked over to talk to the person who checked us in. We asked if someone could check out the issues while we are out of the room. To our surprise, the answer was no. Apparently the front desk attendant was the only employee on the premises and could not go fix the room (mind you again this was Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend). Then we asked if we could switch rooms. The answer again was no. The hotel offered to do nothing. There are many nice places in Santa Fe, go stay there and not at the Lodge—not only because of the bugs and broken stuff, but because it seems the management of the property does not care about its guests.

Believe all the bad reviews, they are true!!

Do not stay here. Hotel in very poor condition and service is the absolute worst. Was checked in by front desk clerk who remained on his phone call and passed me sticky notes asking for id, etc. We received room keys, unpacked, went to dinner and then when keys didn’t work upon return, we were told that we were not supposed to be in that room!! Same clerk argued he did not make the mistake. Just ridiculous, but tv did not work for 2 days, room was tidy but not clean. Will never stay there again or recommend this hotel.

The room was extremely dark and dingy, missing a nightstand and lamp. You could barely see in the bathroom. It would be kind to classify this hotel with 2 stars.

    Disappointed Stay

Very disappointed as the hotel is not so clean; far from what is advertised and photo posted. We didn’t have a ref or a microwave in the room. We were told that those are only available in the suites. No breakfast options. Carpet is kind of sticky and dirty. Laundry is available but on the “other” building. It was a 3-day-2-night cringy stay for me and my kids.

    Impression of The Lodge

Older hotel with lovely decor, 20 minute walk to Santa Fe downtown plaza. No food in hotel, but you can call for delivery or walk 15 minutes to grocery store and food nearby, as well as pharmacy and other stores. I had a room with a lovely view, big, beautiful pool, mountains, green grass, trees. Very peaceful, kid and pet friendly.
