The staff continuously asked me who I came with and my relationship status made me feel uncomfortable traveling alone. The food is not good, found inedible paper in my sandwich from room service. A dead fly on my floor after checking in and arriving to my room first time. Supposed to be adult only yet so many children were able to enter the pools with the bars and restaurants. The adults only section is quiet with no entertainment at night and then the family section is where all the excitement is. You have to travel through the family section to try and find somewhere to eat where every restaurant has a wait of an hour or more.

Just okay resort, nothing special. It’s pretty big it takes time to walk to everything and plus a wait for buffet, restaurants, coffee place. Bugs were coming out of shower also it gets pretty loud on adult side like at 2 am people are fighting and screaming.

Property is very nice, clean. Restaurant “reservation” system is a complete mess. They tell you to make a reservation at 8 am to a restaurant for the given day, yet you get there and there are about 50 people in line and that’s already impossible. Wait on dinner reservations are terrible and they did not go even in order when we waiting until 10 pm to be seated instead of 8:30. Another bad plenty of instances were the human feces in the water. We found out that it comes from Isla Mujeres. So good luck with swimming poop everywhere. Disgusting. Never had that experience in Riviera Maya/Playa del Carmen. Overall great resort, restaurant booking mess needs to be fixed as well as people aware of the poop floating around.
