Great place to stay in downtown Cancun
I was impressed with Smart Cancun and in fact, extended my stay there by a few days. The rooms are spacious and well maintained and I always found the staff on the front desk to be friendly and helpful. Outdoors, there is a sizeable pool in which you can actually swim and not just dip along with helpful staff on hand. I would recommend Smart Cancun to anybody planning to visit downtown Cancun.

Horrible experience from beginning to end. If you can stay away, please do so. I reserved a room for a night and when I arrived at the location the smart location was closed so we had to go to another one. When we got to the other location they “couldn’t find” my reservation, but that’s only because I used cheap tickets. I was back and forth between hotels before they allowed us in. We were doing this game for 1 hour before getting our room. I booked a room with a double bed that fits 4 people but since I only specified 3 in my reservation I had to pay an additional $84 for my 4th person. Again, if you are able to stay away from this hotel please do so.

Nice concept, but it's not worth the price
Nice concept, very poor hotel maintenance. Elevators not working, broken things in the room, broken shower, no hot water and little pressure, sheets that did not cover the bed completely, disappointing for the price. Would be a really nice hotel if they just take a little care of it
