Zero complaints - everything was fabulous, except for the ice storm in April! As we were checking out four different employees made sure to tell us to drive safe. Very friendly!

Great Stay in Downtown Toronto
I stayed for one night doing business in Toronto. The hotel is very centrally located so it was easy to access the downtown, mostly just walking. The staff were friendly and helpful when i needed them. The guys in the restaurant were great and the food was good. The room was a little pricey but if you consider not having to pay for taxis, it was a bargain. I was a little disappointed with the "details" since this is a Hilton owned facility. The room has no microwave or fridge. Although the room was well appointed the furniture was well used and there were noticeable chips and scratches in the night stands. There was a tear in the headboard and the bathroom had been recently updated but the grouting in the shower was terrible and there residual glue on the shower wall. Small issues yes, but I had expected a little better. Overall a very good stay and I will definitely be back!

Closer to Easton than I thought so made the walk on a cold windy day doable!

Toronto Police Visit Room Next Door
It was unfortunate that we had to witness police activity in the room next to ours. The Toronto Police made an arrest and was investigating in the room throughout the day and evening. We went to the front desk to have our room moved and the MGR said they were sending someone to talk to us and they never came or accommodated us. We were stuck listening to the investigation through the thin walls and door. Front desk said they couldn't talk to us about the matter but we knew everything that was going on cause we heard the Police talking to headquarters on their hand held radios. DoubleTree's motto is let us make it right and they give you a business card with a person to call and a cookie when you check in but that is all you get. A card with someone that isn't working and a cookie. This stay was NO DAM GOOD!
