Oddly, a blinking sprinkler light above the bed.
Overall the hotel is nice. Great location, impressive exterior, and helpful staff. Room was fine and clean, though lacked any character. A decent size for an “across the pond” room. Some quirks also prohibit my giving 5 stars. In my room the sprinkler was right above the bed, a weird place for that. It blinked all night, casting a light across the room. Didn’t notice the first two nights (too tired, I guess). For my remaining nights I wore a sleeping mask. Foreign bathrooms are also strange. This sink was tiny, and very low to the ground, made for characters in The Wizard of Oz. The bathroom was also an open room, shower in the corner. Floor can get slippery. In 2 areas there are cords to pull, I assume to summon help if go splat. If someone has mobility issues this bathroom could be a problem. The functional cabinet doors in the bathroom, as well as the closet doors, did not open easily, as there are no handles. Overall, a nice hotel, but not 5 star. Wouldn’t pay big dollars for a room.

Central hotel but expensive
Very central location. Walking distance to all major sights. Hotel very clean inside with some issues on entrance steps after hours. The rooms are small but well equipped. The overall value is questionable at the rates charged. At 500+ euro per night mid week in May its expensive for the offering.

Perfect all around
Great location - within walking distance to many attractions like the West End, London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the river. Service was excellent! Provided us with a free tiramisu and drink for a birthday and both were incredibly delicious. We would stay here again.

Great hotel run by people who care, great spot.
Wonderful hotel, great location on Trafalgar Square. Had the best coffee in London during our stay. Room was of good size for London and nice amenities and incredibly clean. Absolutely will stay here again if staying in London.
