    Reasonably priced for location which is convenient for transport around London. Room was comfortable, only criticism was it could do with being cleaned better. Staff were pleasant and happy to help.

    Very pleasant stay

    Service was great, reception great when we arrived and checked out - helpful and cheerful. Felt like a valued customer. Hotel was nice and clean, bed was comfy and clean and in good condition. Toiletries nice. Would stay here again definitely.

    Lovely staff, room and food not worth 4* status

    On first arrival the hotel looked nice and the staff go above and beyond to welcome you however the room was disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. The furniture was dated and appeared to have seen better days. The sink had dirt in it which was a shame and there was no bin liner in the bathroom bin. There was no plug sockets near the bed and the TV would only show a slideshow of the hotel itself. Perhaps this was a glitch but from someone who’s pretty knowledgable with more extensive tech, this TV was a challenge that couldn’t be beaten. The shower had a cheap head which made showering unpleasant. The walls were very thin so we struggled to sleep until the early hours of the morning due to neighbours. Maybe the hotel would benefit from a quiet side and a ‘party’ side. Someone had to come and tell the neighbours to be quiet which was helpful but even after this they continued to talk which could still be heard. The drink selection from the bar was limited and the food too. We ordered a sandwich that was overpriced for what it was and you couldn’t even get a different flavour of kettle crisp to go alongside it. It was ready salted or nothing and even then, you only got half of the bags worth placed on the side of the sandwich. Myself and my partner did not understand how this hotel was a 4* which was a shame as the staff truly were some of the nicest we’d come across in a long time. We personally wouldn’t stay again unless changes were implemented.

    Good vale near Paddington

    Great location, friendly staff and clean/modern rooms. Great value overall. A 15 minute walk to Paddington and the Heathrow express. Hammersmith and Piccadilly line is direct St Pancras / Kings Cross, so a good place for a quick stopover in London. Kensington Gardens are nearby, if you want to stretch your legs.
